- 500g fresh fish fillets (snapper, grouper, or similar), cut into chunks

Method
- 1Clean and cut the fish (such as snapper or grouper) into manageable pieces. Set aside.
- 2Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Add 3 chopped shallots, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 chopped red chili; sauté until fragrant (about 3 minutes).
- 3Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, and 1 diced tomato. Cook until the tomato softens and the spices release their aroma (about 5 minutes).
