Classic Malaysian pulled tea: strong black tea sweetened with condensed milk, pulled between two vessels to create a silky body and signature foam.

Ingredients
- 480ml (2 cups) water
- 12g (0.42 oz / 2 tbsp) strong black tea leaves, or 2 black tea bags
- 90ml (3 fl oz / 6 tbsp) sweetened condensed milk
Method
- 1Bring 480ml (2 cups) water to a boil at 100°C (212°F) in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- 2Add 12g (0.42 oz / 2 tbsp) black tea leaves (or 2 black tea bags). Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes (3 to 4 minutes) to brew very strong.
- 3Remove from the heat and strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve or tea strainer into a heatproof pitcher. Press the leaves or bags gently to extract liquid, then discard.
- 4Add 90ml (3 fl oz / 6 tbsp) sweetened condensed milk to a second heatproof pitcher. Pour the hot tea into it and stir until fully mixed.
