Kopi Tarik
Classic Malaysian pulled coffee: strong sock-brewed coffee blended with sweetened condensed milk, then “pulled” for a creamy foam and a slightly cooler drinking temperature.

Ingredients
- 30g (1.1 oz) dark-roast ground coffee (preferably robusta)
- 480ml (2 cups) water, just off the boil at 96-100°C (205-212°F)
- 60ml (1/4 cup) sweetened condensed milk
Method
- 1Heat 480ml (2 cups) water to 96-100°C (205-212°F) and keep hot.
- 2Set a kopi sock (coffee sock) over a heatproof jug. Add 30g (1.1 oz) ground coffee into the sock.
- 3Pour all 480ml (2 cups) hot water through the grounds in the sock into the jug. Stir the grounds in the sock with a spoon, then steep 4 minutes for a strong brew.
- 4Lift the sock and let it drain fully into the jug.
